## 1. Size from capacity, not from hope
- **Interview capacity** = number of interview seats × interview hours × 60 ÷ minutes per interview.
- Set a **hard cap** on admitted candidates near that number, plus a small walk-in buffer.
- The venue's safe occupancy (from the venue and the local authority) is an absolute upper limit. Never exceed it.

## 2. Slot caps
- Registered candidates get an **arrival slot** (for example hourly windows by qualification band or surname), each capped.
- A **separate walk-in lane** with its own cap. When it is full, say so at the gate and on the update channel.
- Stop admitting when the cap is reached. Tell people outside honestly and early.

## 3. Sector zones and separate tokens
- Lay the floor out by **sector zones** (for example A: ITI/technical and field roles; B: retail, sales and logistics; C: graduate office roles).
- Each zone has its **own token series** and its own live token board. **Never run one global token queue.**
- A seated waiting area per zone, away from the entrance.

## 4. Entry, exit and flow
- Separate entry and exit; keep emergency exits clear and signed.
- Barricaded queue lanes with marshals; no crushing at a single gate.
- Agree the crowd plan in writing with venue security and the local police station beforehand. **The human signs and sends.**

## 5. Welfare and accessibility
- Drinking water, shade, toilets (including accessible toilets), first aid and an ambulance contact.
- Step-free routes, priority lane and seating for persons with disabilities, older candidates and pregnant women.
- A women's help desk and a grievance desk.
- A lost-and-found and a phone-charging point help people wait patiently.

## 6. Incidents
- Named incident lead, radio or phone tree, and a clear "pause entry" decision rule.
- Log every incident with time, what happened and action taken.
